No. We generally accept any number of items with a few exceptions like CDs, DVDs, VCR Tapes, alkaline and non-rechargeable batteries.

Customers can get rid of their old or unwanted computers, peripherals and electronics.

Recycling in-house — CompuPoint USA, LLC accept ALL electronics FREE OF COST, including ink and toner cartridges, and wires, cords and cables with a few exceptions like CDs, DVDs, VCR Tapes, alkaline and non-rechargeable batteries. Please go to our Products Recycled Page to view more details.

Display Monitors & TV recycling options — As per its EH&S Policy, if products cannot be refurbished or resold, CompuPoint USA, LLC will ensure the products are responsibly recycled according to R2:2013 standards and procedures.

CompuPoint USA, LLC accepts most electronics and household appliances, with a few exceptions like CDs, DVDs, and VCR Tapes, alkaline and non-rechargeable batteries.

CompuPoint USA, LLC de-manufactures all electronics at its facility and adheres to the highest R2:2013, ISO 18001 OHSAS and EMS ISO 14001 guidelines and standards. This assures customers that the products we are given for recycling do not end up in landfills and that all hazardous materials are disposed of properly. The products are determined if they product can be repaired, re-purposed or recycled.

To ensure all products collected for recycling by CompuPoint USA, LLC are handled and processed responsibly, our facility is subject to regular periodic independent inspections, downstream vendor audits, environmental management system audits, annual health and safety audits and process evaluations. When we select downstream vendors, we implement the same due diligence criteria required under the R2; 2013 guidelines. We conduct site visits to vendors’ facilities to ensure that the requirements that they commit to are enforced and welcome all clients and vendors to visit our facility.

We properly recover and dispose. PCBs, mercury, and have in place the best environmental practices available. Using various techniques, we dismantle the units, separating out the commodities (metals, plastics, glass, etc.). We ensure the reclaimed commodities are recycled and re-purposed into new products.

CompuPoint USA, LLC accepts hard drives and items containing hard drives for recycling.

Customers may consider removing or wiping their data at their own discretion. In the case of hard drives on laptops or desktop PCs, customers have the choice to remove their data themselves, or they can talk to our Recycling Associates about services we offer to remove the hard drive before handing the PC, Laptop, Tablet, Cell Phone or any other device over to be recycled.

You are responsible for removing any data from your device before providing the product to us.

CompuPoint USA, LLC does not accept Refrigerators, Freezers, Air Conditioners or equipment containing refrigerants or coolants or other such liquids or gases in our facility.

Customers can call Scrap Yards to find alternate locations to recycle these products.

Customers are welcome to drop off their rechargeable batteries.

CompuPoint USA, LLC does not accept alkaline batteries for disposal.

CompuPoint USA, LLC promotes responsible environmental stewardship by complying with R2:2013, OHSAS ISO18001 and ISO14001 EMS standards regarding the reuse, refurbishment or recycling of products collected through our programs and the disposal of commodity grade materials from the recycling process.
